Engagement Roadmap Committee Charge

Engagement is defined as collaborative partnerships between TAMU and appropriate audiences that build on TAMU’s strengths in research and education. Most TAMU faculty are involved in some form of engagement activity, so the array of potential engagement areas is vast. The charge for the Engagement Roadmap Committee (ERC) is two fold. First, to recommend to the Academic Master Plan Steering Committee a limited set of areas of which resources should be focused. These should be major issues that extend beyond the boundaries of individual departments and colleges. Second, to recommend how TAMU can enhance the effectiveness of its interactions with external constituencies in each of the identified areas.
