Reminders before Thanksgiving break

Published on Tue 11/17/20

Dear Students,

We’re almost to the end of the semester! Next week’s holiday break offers a welcome respite to a challenging year. Thank you for all your hard work this fall to help us get through the semester.

Given increasing COVID-19 infection rates, we are strongly encouraging you to get a COVID-19 test before leaving for Thanksgiving to keep your family and community safe. Details with locations and times are provided here.

Next Tuesday, November 24th, is the last day of class and Wednesday, November 25th, is a reading day.

After the Thanksgiving holiday, Monday, November 30th, is a reading day and Q-drop deadline. Students wishing to Q-drop should do so by 5 pm. Please complete all student course evaluations before midnight.

Please continue to wear face coverings, wash hands, physical distance, stay home if you are sick, and get tested. If you receive a positive test or are exposed to someone with COVID-19, please report the information here. Delays in providing information only delay our ability to make prudent adjustments in a timely manner. Please visit Texas A&M’s main COVID-19 page for additional information.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Sincerely,

Carol A. Fierke, Provost and Executive Vice President
