Ms. Cheryl L. Hanks serves as the Associate Vice President for Academic Services in the Division of Enrollment and Academic Services at Texas A&M University , where she has been employed more than 30 years. She received abachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University and holds a master’s of public administration degree from Texas A&M.
Ms. Hanks is responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning, and oversight in the areas of budgeting, financial operations, human resources/personnel, and facilities. She manages the division’s annual budget process, monitors revenue and expenditure trends, and facilitates financial partnerships and processes within Academic Affairs between and among the main campus, Health Science Center, and branch campuses in Galveston and Qatar.
Hanks was a member of the Leadership Texas Class of 2010 and is involved in Texas Women in Higher Education as well as being a State of Texas Mediator.
