Chris Reed

Chris Reed was appointed Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Chief Enrollment Officer in July of 2024. Prior to that he served in numerous leadership roles on campus including Director of MBA Admissions and Recruitment, Executive Director of Admissions and Assistant Vice President for Admissions.

Mr. Reed joined the staff at Texas A&M in January of 2008 after serving in several positions at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Reed oversees the Offices of the Registrar, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Admissions, and Aggie One Stop. During his tenure, Texas A&M has experienced unprecedented growth while increasing retention and graduation rates across nearly all student metrics. He has served as the President of the Texas Association of Registrars and Admissions Officers and was instrumental in the launch of the Brazos Valley Promise Program. Mr. Reed is focused on supporting the university through long term strategic enrollment planning to ensure the Aggie Experience is maintained for years to come.
